The large VMX machines extend the signature 3-axis platform with more Y-axis travel and bigger tables, in CAT 40 and CAT 50 spindle configurations. Same construction as the rest of the VMX line: roller ways on all axes, direct-coupled ballscrews, and a one-piece cast iron base.
