The SWT is SISMA's laser welding system for the repair and maintenance of transportable moulds. The 180 degree door opening takes bulky components, up to four interpolated axes reach welds in narrow and deep grooves and on internal or external edges, and with the right filler wire the repaired mould can reach hardnesses that make subsequent heat treatment unnecessary.
Specifications for the SISMA SWT-300F are listed below as published on sisma.com. SISMA publishes metric figures; the imperial values shown are unit conversions. SISMA S.p.A. is headquartered in Piovene Rocchette, Italy; SISMA laser systems are sold and supported in Southern California by MASCO.
