The SL series box-way CNC turning centers are designed for heavy and interrupted cutting with superior part finishes. A true 45 degree slant bed carries hardened, ground, and widely spaced box ways on all axes, with hand scraped Turcite B mating surfaces, doublenut pre-loaded ballscrews, and a bi-directional hydraulic turret. A hydraulic tailstock mounted on box ways is standard.
